Run, walk or jog 5k every day this December and raise funds for Sue Ryder
Whether you run, walk or jog, this challenge is for you. It doesn't matter how you take it on, with friends, with family or on your own. Do it for yourself, do it to support a loved one, or do it to raise vital funds for compassionate end of life and neurological care and bereavement support. Now, more than ever, Sue Ryder needs our support. Lockdown, PPE and visitor restrictions didn't stop their work. They kept on caring because their supporters, like people taking on the Daily Dash, cared too.
We've never seen a Christmas like the one we're facing. It's not just the masks and protection we're wearing. Or the visitor restrictions at their hospices. It's the fact so many more people are likely to need their care this winter. Please help them keep caring.
The event was started by Jackie, Mark and some friends in 2015 after Jackie's Dad received amazing care from Sue Ryder in the last few months of his life. The challenge has grown from 13 participants in the first year to over 550 last year, raising over £100,000 for Sue Ryder to date.
Now entering our sixth year, we’ve made it even easier to take part. This hub is the one place you need to go to register, find out more about the event, check out the leaderboard and get some training or fundraising information.
